Toys “R” Us Inc. is considering closing at least 100 U.S. stores in the
face of weak holiday sales, according to people with knowledge of the
situation. U.S. sales have declined about 15 percent this
Christmas-shopping season from a year earlier.. The number of closed
stores could reach approximately 200..

The latest in chain stores closing down. Discussing this on Sky News,
they said ‘well people go there to check out the goods then go home and
order them cheaper from Amazon.’ So what happens when they all close,
which seems to he the trend. What happens to competition, when we have
no choice but some huge mega-global Amazon?
