Corn prices spike, leading to higher food price forecast - Jul. 25, 2012
The U.S. Department of Agriculture said Wednesday that meat prices would rise significantly, with the consumer price index for beef and veal expected to gain between 3.5% and 4.5% this year.Taking a look at SNAP benefits, they are going down ~-2% in nominal terms year over year on a per household basis, $277/household/month for April, 2012 (last month reported).
