China says US sanctions against Chinese bank over transactions with Iran will damage ties - The Washington Post
China’s Foreign Ministry on Wednesday urged the United States to
rescind sanctions imposed on a Chinese bank over its transactions with
Iran, saying the move damaged China-U.S. relations.
Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said in a statement that China
expressed its strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition and would lodge
an official protest with Washington.
