Bread Shelves Go Empty in Manhattan

 This is what occurs when prices are out of sync with demand. Generally it is caused by price controls. In this case the bread shelves are bare at the Food Emporium on 68th and Broadway in Manhattan as the demand for bread climbed because of Hurricane Sandy.
