Greece gets OK for bailout payment of 4 bln euros
Euro-zone officials have given the green light for Greece to receive its
latest sub-tranche of bailout funds, the European Commission said
Friday. Simon O'Connor, spokesman for the European Commission, confirmed

euros ($5.3 billion) to Greece, with €2.5bn to come from the European Financial Stability Facility
and €1.5bn from the Securities Market Program. Both of these payments
will need to be approved by euro-zone governments on Monday. Earlier
this week, the release of the bailout funds was put in doubt after
Eurogroup chief Jeroen Dijsselbloem said Greece was yet to meet one of
the conditions for the payment
