“We support dictators for years and
years and spent billions of dollars then of course when we’re getting
tired of them then we’re looking for new dictators,” Paul said in an
interview with Infowars.com.
“This craziness in Egypt, we demand that they have an election. They
elected someone we don’t like and then we have to send the weapons to
the military and then they have a military coup,” he added.
Egypt has been gripped by deadly violence since the military ousted
Mohamed Morsi, the country’s first democratically-elected president, on
July 3.
The Obama administration has refused to suspend its annual 1.5
billion dollars aid to Egypt despite condemning the bloody violence in
the country.
