President Barack Obama will not meet with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly meeting, White House officials said Tuesday. Speculation about a possible meeting increased in recent days even though it might have been nothing more than a handshake. But in the end, even that was "too complicated for Iranians to do at this point," a senior administration official said. Earlier, Obama welcomed Iran's recent diplomatic moves in a speech earlier Tuesday to the U.N. body and said that "the diplomatic path" with Iran should be tested to see if a deal can be reached on the country's nuclear program
