Since the Federal Reserve became master over the universe one hundred years ago, the United States dollar has been dying a slow tortuous death.  Because we mostly take money for granted, until we don’t have any, the incremental changes to the dollar bill have gone almost unnoticed.  The dollar’s demise has been like a mortally wounded bull elephant – slowing bleeding to death.  Here are the corpses:
