Ron Klain, the former chief of staff to vice presidents Joe Biden and
Al Gore, is one of the small set of Washington superlawyers garnering
buzz as possible candidates to succeed Kathryn Ruemmler as President
Barack Obama’s White House counsel.
POLITICO’s Playbook reported
Wednesday morning that the 42-year-old Reummler, who has held the job
since June 2011, will leave at the end of the year. A White House
official said she had planned to leave soon after Obama won re-election
but that the president prevailed on her to remain in the job.
From my perspective No one wants to be left connected to this failed administration.
