A student at Canyon High School in Anaheim Hills ended up in the principal’s office because she was wearing an NRA T-shirt that had an image of a hunter on it. (Watch news VIDEO at bottom of this post.)
Sophomore Haley Bullwinkle said she had worn the shirt before without any issues, but this time she was escorted to the principles office by a school security guard and ordered to change the shirt “because it promoted gun violence”.
Haley said they treated her like a criminal for wearing the shirt and her father is saying that the school went way overboard in it’s overreaction to the t-shirt which many would say promotes gun safety and responsibility and NOT gun violence
