Abengoa Bioenergy said in documents filed in
bankruptcy court in St. Louis that it has between 200 and 999
creditors, assets of between $1 billion and $10 billion, and liabilities
of between $1 billion and $10 billion.
It’s being represented by attorney Richard Engel of Armstrong Teasdale.
Other Abengoa
affiliates filing bankruptcy Wednesday include: Abengoa Bioenergy of
Nebraska LLC, Abengoa Bioenergy Company US Holding LLC, Abengoa
Bioenergy Trading US LLC, Abengoa Bioenergy Engineering &
Construction LLC and Abengoa Bioenergy Outsourcing LLC.
Abengoa Bioenergy Co.’s largest creditors, according to court documents, include French bank Société Générale ($1.4 billion).
