"The single-largest category was leisure and hospitality, which added 59,000 jobs in June. This is also the single-worst paying sector... Average hourly earnings for this group were $12.83 last month. Multiply the weekly number by 52 weeks, and you get $16,600."

The next biggest jobs creators were:
  • Information 44K jobs
  • Professional and Business Services 38K jobs
