Take a look at the trade deficit figures that the U.S. has had with
China. For 2017, the trade deficit so far is $273 billion. Trump just
got $250 billion of business with China, thereby virtually WIPING OUT
our deficit with them. From this point forward, there will be no more
trade deficit with China.
Pres. Trump is a genius to have done this. It happened in no short
part to his negotiating skills, and his good relationship with Asia in
general and China in particular. This is an incredible start to a much
better, and more fair, business relationship with that region.
Anyone who will not give him credit in this regard is being willfully ignorant.
