Never underestimate a sneaky rat or a
Democrat. Obama knowing he and his Administration abused their own
surveillance powers by spying on President Trump and his Team,
anticipating trouble ahead, expanded surveillance powers days before
Trump took office. He tried to make the blow a little easier when
Fisagate would become public knowledge. Poor thing, he never
anticipated a Trump win, so he had to act quickly.
I have to refer now to an interview
by Kaveh Waddell of “The Atlantic” with Susan Hennessey, a Brookings
fellow and the managing editor of “Lawfare.”
https://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2017/01/obama-expanding-nsa-powers/513041/
One part of the interview is
especially amusing to me, as this interview took place in January, 2017.
At that time, of course, even then…Trump was the “bad” one…Obama was
the “good” one. That was before FisaGate erupted onto the scene.
Waddell: I found it interesting that
you said the change could, in one way, actually be viewed as a “huge
source of comfort.” I think you were referring to the timing of the
change. Why is that?
Hennessey: These changes have
actually been in process for eight or nine years. One of the things I
think individuals who had insight into intelligence activities and were
concerned about the election of Donald Trump – specifically, some of the
statements he’s made about adherence to the rule of law – a lot of
those people’s minds went very quickly to these procedures.
Even then they were eroding the
Presidency of Donald Trump in every way they could. Hypocritical and
deceptive, they expanded the powers of the NSA not to protect the
American people from President Trump, but to attempt to make legal the
illegal spying, which the Obama Administration had carried out ON
PRESIDENT TRUMP AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. But at the time of the
interview, the spin was egregious.
In the final days of the Obama
Administration the power of the NSA to share globally intercepted
personal communications with the government’s 16 other intelligence
agencies before applying privacy protections expanded.
The sneaky change means far more
officials will have immediate access to NSA raw data. Basically Obama
increased the risk that officials will see private information about
innocent people. But in the interview above, Hennessey insinuated Obama
was trying to shield the American people from President Trump.
Enter Obama’s sidekick in crime,
Attorney General Loretta Lynch signed the new rules, permitting the NSA
to disseminate “raw signals intelligence information,” on Jan. 3, after
the Director of National Intelligence, James R. Clapper Jr., signed them
on Dec. 15, according to declassified procedures.
Previously, the NSA filtered
information before sharing intercepted communications with another
agency, like the CIA or the intelligence branches of the FBI and the
Drug Enforcement Administration. The NSA’s analysts passed on only
information they deemed pertinent, screening out the identities of
innocent people and irrelevant personal information.
Now our Intelligence Agencies are one
big happy family united together by Obama before he left office. He
united them together against President Trump and the American people!
He went global right in line with the New World Order. Intelligence
communities all over the world are uniting against the citizens of the
world.
This quote by Andrew C. McCarthy says
it all. “Our political passions and partisanship overwhelm our ability
to uncover the truth.”
