A pair of Connecticut politicians got into a real pissing match – by peeing in cups for a drug test.
Bridgeport City Councilman Ernest Newton and school board member Maria Pereira held what the Connecticut Post called “a modern twist on the classic political duel” after lobbing insults at each other in the comments section of local blog Only in Bridgeport.
The Democratic pols began attacking each other over a piece about budget figures that had been posted on the widely read site, where Pereira questioned the accuracy of numbers out of Mayor Joe Ganim’s administration.
“Please remember to take your meds,” Newton wrote to Pereira on April 13, adding that he did not believe the Board of Education’s 2019-20 budget
Who the hell scraped these two off the bottom of the barrel?
