lhan Omar is no stranger to controversy. When she was just a candidate she’s faced allegations that she legally married her brother to help him immigrate to the U.S. (allegations the FBI is now investigating), and since becoming a Representative she’s had other controversies, such as spending $1.6 million in campaign funds to a firm operated by the man who would later become her husband (and they’ve continued since). She’d also been hit by an FEC complaint for allegedly using her campaign to illegally reimburse the travel expenses of her husband-to-be. Now she’s being rocked by her biggest scandal yet: allegations of ballot harvesting. Eric Trump tweeted this morning that the Trump campaign will immediately be notifying the FBI of the allegations.
