When you live in an area prone to wild fires you prepare for them every season. Failure to do so is indefensible incompetence.
When you preach climate change and the apocalypse but then do everything to not be prepared instead of super prepared then you have crossed the line of incompetence and moved to directly to
Malice!
You either don't believe your own narrative making you frauds and con artists or you purposefully sabotaged preparations hoping to create a bigger crisis that could be used for "tremendous opportunity" with complete disregard for human life and the destruction it would cause.
