Greek Unemployment Rises To Record High
(RTTNews) - Greece's unemployment rate increased to a record high in

released by the Hellenic Statistical Authority showed Thursday.
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate climbed to 22.5 percent in
April from 22 percent in March. The latest figure, sharply higher than
16.2 percent recorded in April 2011, has hit an all-time high.
The number of unemployed persons in the country advanced 2.5 percent
month-on-month to around 1.11 million in April. Compared to April last
year, the number of jobless persons surged 38.4 percent.
