NFIB small-business index slumps in June - MarketWatch
The National Federation of Independent Business's small-business
optimism index dropped 3 points in June to 91.4, to reach the lowest
level since October 2011. Labor market indicators and spending plans for
capital equipment and inventories weighed on the index, and only one of
10 components, expected credit conditions, improved. The report is
based on the responses of 740 randomly sampled small businesses in
NFIB's membership
