U.S. House votes to repeal health-care law

House votes to repeal health-care law - MarketWatch

The House of Representatives voted 244-to-185 to repeal the health-care law called the Affordable Care Act, or known by Obamacare to its critics. The vote to repeal came after the law was mostly upheld by the Supreme Court last month. Despite the House vote, the Democrat-controlled Senate is not likely to pursue the repeal effort, and in any case, President Barack Obama would not sign into law a bill repealing his signature legislative achievement.
