Feds to admit Ground Zero cancer link - MarketWatch
The federal government is expected on Monday to acknowledge there is a
connection between the toxic conditions at the site of the destroyed
World Trade Center Ground Zero and various cancers, Fox News reports. A
source at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention told the
network that a new rule will recognize that police, firefighters and
other responders may well have come down with cancer as result of their
work at Ground Zero. The move means that victims will be eligible for
compensation from a $2.8 billion fund
