A North Bergen recycling company that has pleaded guilty to illegal dumping and amassed fines of more than $700,000 over safety issues has filed for bankruptcy reorganization.
Lieze Associates, which does business as Eagle Recycling of New Jersey, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy Friday in U.S. District Court in Newark, with combined assets of $10.5 million and liabilities of $13.6 million.
