College Enrollment and Work Activity of 2012 High School Graduates
The college enrollment rate — the share of recent U.S. high-school
graduates enrolling in college or a university in the same year —
dropped in 2012 to 66.2%, the lowest level since 2006, the Labor
Department said
in a report today. For 2012 graduates, the rate dropped for both men
and women, to 61.3% from 64.6% in 2011, and 71.3% from 72.3%,
respectively.
There was a bump in those entering college when the recession hit, and
there was little else to do, but for many it makes no sense to get
degrees (unless it is a technical degree) and it is becoming obvious
Increasing government involvement in education at the college level has
ruined the value of college degrees for most.
Wait until you see what
Obamacare is going to do to healthcare in this country, stay Healthy my friends, anything! I repeat anything! the .gov touches turns to shit.
Just look at housing as one example of failure.
