ECB leaves rates unchanged; Draghi in focus
The European Central Bank on Thursday left its key lending rate
unchanged at 0.25% and made no changes to other official rates, leaving
the deposit rate at 0%. The decision was widely expected after the ECB
unexpectedly cut rates in November. ECB President Mario Draghi's monthly
news conference will be closely watched for clues to future policy
moves. The news conference begins at 8:30 a.m. Eastern.
