Obama overheard saying young people just don't use Facebook anymore
Facebook Inc.
FB
-0.25%
recently acknowledged signs of eroding teen interest in the
social network. Well, even the president of the United States knows
that, too.
Robinson Meyer, a writer for The Atlantic magazine, reported
on a chance encounter with President Barack Obama at a café where the
chief had a chat with a few young people on a range of issues, including
trends in social media.
That was when Obama was overheard making a comment on the changing social media tastes of young people.
“It seems like they don’t use Facebook anymore,” he was overheard saying.
That prompted Meyer to write: “Facebook is so uncool even the president of the United States knows it.”
I'd call that a " Sell " signal
