Bank bail-ins are a serious threat and they are here to stay
Meanwhile, the rest of Western society carried on like the game
hadn’t changed. Yes, this happened in Cyprus, but this could never occur
in the United States, Canada, Germany or any other nation, right?
Wrong.
The facts are quite bleak. Not only is it a possibility that bail-ins
could occur at home, but it is likely going to be the case. We all know
that a crisis is coming. One that will make the 2008 crisis look like a
rehearsal for the real thing. No problems have been fixed, only papered
over.
