Merck & Co. Inc is laying off 600 of its employees at the company’s North Wales and Lansdale offices by the end of August, according to thePhiladelphia Business Journal.
The Philadelphia Business Journal says the information comes from a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice the pharmaceutical company filed with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Merck officials were not immediately available for comment on the layoffs.
