MH17 One Week In

http://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=229214

One week in, this is what we appear to know.
Please keep in mind that falsification of various records and items, including so-called "photographic evidence", is relatively common.  If you do not have an original digital image it can also be very difficult to detect -- but is usually not impossible.  I have caught a number of faked -- and false claims made from real -- images over the years on The Ticker, including the infamous one of a so-called "camera" over the shoulder of a man that was fired upon by a US Helicopter -- and which, upon closer examination, certainly looked like a RPG and not any camera I've ever seen.  Remember this?

Both Diane Feinstein and John Kerry are upping the ante on the U.S. Government’s allegations that Russia was involved in shooting MH17 out of the sky.  Again, there has been no evidence presented that points to any specific perpetrator, Russian-backed or U.S.-backed.   Besides any evidence, other than than the scatological-laced steam emanating from U.S. Government officials all the way up to Obama, there is not motive.  Evidence does suggest the separatist rebels in Ukraine were not capable of firing the suspected missile.  But the Ukraine militants were properly outfitted.
Feinstein and Kerry better be damn sure they are right, or they will further enforce the growing view that the U.S. Government is being run by a corrupt confederacy of dunces.

Washington’s propaganda machine is in such high gear that we are in danger of losing the facts that we do have. One fact is that the separatists do not have the expensive Buk anti-aircraft missile system or the trained personnel to operate it.
Another fact is that the separatists have no incentive to shoot down an airliner and neither does Russia. Anyone can tell the difference between low-flying attack aircraft and an airliner at 33,000 feet.
The Ukrainians do have Buk anti-aircraft missile systems, and a Buk battery was operational in the region and deployed at a site from which it could have fired a missile at the airliner.

The truth is, we do not have one shred of hard evidence appropriately pointing to any guilty party in this situation.   The only “evidence” so far is the aggressive accusations made by Obama and Biden pointing the finger at Russia.

Hell, even O.J. Simpson is laughing at the vacuity of Obama’s assertions right now.
