US President Barack Obama will keep his promise to close the
American military prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, before his presidency
ends in 11 months, according to the White House.
Obama
will first provide Congress with a long-awaited plan about how to close
the detention facility, and seek its approval, White House Chief of
Staff Denis McDonough said in an interview with Fox News on Sunday.
If Congress fails to act, the Obama administration will determine the next step, he said.
"He
feels an obligation to the next president. He will fix this so that
they don't have to be confronted with the same set of challenges,"
McDonough said.
What a bitter disappointment this man has been. He raised such high hopes, with as it has turned out, nothing but LIES. False promises made that he had NO intention of keeping, just so you would vote for him.
ReplyDeleteOne promise he made early, was the one about "closing Guantanamo Bay within his first 100 days in office". Well, its been 2,555 days since he took office. His past actions have proven beyond a SHADOW OF DOUBT, what he is - A LIAR.
This is why I say Trump with all his good intentions should be questioned. We've heard it all before. The dead giveaway? The media coverage. The media is the Left's propaganda voice so for them to hop on board with Trump something stinks in Denmark..
