The Conservative Tribune reports, On Thursday, the U.S. Senate unanimously voted to renew sanctions on Iran, indicating it remained opposed to President Barack Obama’s concessions to Tehran in the final weeks before he leaves office. The Washington Free Beacon reported that the Senate approved the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996 with a vote of 99-0. The renewal of sanctions passed overwhelmingly in the House last month.
