California’s Leftist Govt is to blame for the emergency spillway failure – design flaw known issue for over 12 years

http://www.eastbaytimes.com/2017/02/12/oroville-dam-feds-and-state-officials-ignored-warnings-12-years-ago/

And yet all the idiots on twitter from California are blaming President Trump because they have not heard from him yet.
“as thousands evacuate ahead of the oroville dam failure — mr. trump — where the bloody fuck are you?”
“Trump races to fix #OrovilleDam …..Crickets !”
“If the #OrovilleDam had been on SNL this weekend, @POTUS @realDonaldTrump would have something to say about it.”

But wait. It’s the Republicans fault. The dam was built before Democrats were reliably in control of the govt.
Tweet:
“Oroville dam was constructed decades ago, when CA was not a reliable Dem state.”
Being a Leftist means never having to admit it is your fault.

The Democratic Party currently holds super majorities in both chambers of the California Legislature. The state senate currently consists of 26 Democrats and 14 Republicans, and the Assembly consists of 52 Democrats and 28 Republicans. Except for the period from 1995 to 1996, the Assembly has been in Democratic hands since the 1970 election (even while the governor’s office has gone back and forth between Republicans and Democrats). The Senate has been in Democratic hands continuously since 1970.

Did the Democrats ever send a bill to Schwarzenegger for repair of the emergency spillway? No. Right the opposite and here is an example of Schwarzenegger complaining about it:
To the Members of the California State Assembly:
I am returning Assembly Bill 1176 without my signature.
For some time now I have lamented the fact that major issues are overlooked while many unnecessary bills come to me for consideration. Water reform, prison reform, and healthcare are major issues my Administration has brought to the table, but the Legislature just kicks the can down the alley.
Yet another legislative year has come and gone without the major reforms Californians overwhelmingly deserve. In light of this, and after careful consideration, I believe it is
unnecessary to sign this measure at this time.

Sincerely,
Arnold Schwarzenegger
