Fed's Lacker: US rates need to rise quicker than expected

• US rates need to rise quicker than expected by markets
• Wants to hike sooner rather than later
• It's pretty clear any new fiscal policies will require higher rates
• There's considerable uncertainty about the Trump administration's likely effect on the economy

I'm not sure how he can say that it's clear fiscal policy equals higher rates without knowing what those polices will be. He's potentially right on paper but reality is something different.
His comments are pretty much par for the course for him.
