US MBA mortgage applications 2.3% vs -3.2% prior

  • Mortgage index 393.6 vs 384.7 prior
  • Purchase index 233.7 vs 229.6 prior
  • Refi index 1276.4 vs 1248.4 prior
  • 30yr mortgage rate 4.35% vs 4.39% prior
Take these numbers with a grain of salt...the refi activity is mute, how these number came about is beyond me.
