And then he launched into a recitation of his accomplishments, saying he
believes he's had the most successful first year of any president.
"You
gotta keep up the enthusiasm," he told the Republican crowd, referring
to upcoming elections. "Don't be complacent. Because if they get in,
they will repeal your tax cuts; they will put judges in that you
wouldn't believe; they'll take away your Second Amendment, which we will
never allow to happen."
He received rousing applause for the latter remark.
