A formal invitation is traditionally made by the Speaker of the House to the President several weeks before each State of the Union Address.

 President Trump should give the State of the Union speech from the Oval Office. Surrounded by hamburgers. Not only that, but he should continue to address the American people directly from the Oval Office- a la the Fireside Chats.

And since the dems told him he was not invited into CONgress to do this, he won't have to send them a script beforehand. Watch them scramble to throw stones.
