I’m it sure how anyone could be surprised by this. Supposedly things are about to get better and we are poised for a vcovery yet all of this is predicated on our authorizing $1.9T in emergency assistance? When have we ever spent that kind of money for this little effect? If people haven’t figured out that Covid is the perfect excuse to spend money without having any discussion of the policies that led to us having to spend this money I’m not sure they’ll ever see it.
