Allow me to retort: the US government is totally fine with political violence – and is actively rewarding it:

This is real and very serious political violence – and this guy was released on bond specifically because it was political violence..

He called the cops and admitted to committing a politically motivated murder, and that’s exactly why he was let out on such a tiny bond.

I can’t find precedent at all, even now, for a black or white being released on $50,000 bond in a red state after confessing to murder.

What this means is: if you kill someone for any reason, you are better off telling the cops you killed them because they’re a Republican. 

That is to say, there is a system of rewarding political violence baked into the American “justice system.”
