House to vote on three-month debt limit hike - MarketWatch
The House of Representatives will vote next week to authorize a
three-month increase in the debt ceiling, House Majority Leader Eric
Cantor said Friday. "Next week, we will authorize a three month
temporary debt limit increase to give the Senate and House time to pass a
budget," Cantor said. Earlier Friday, House Speaker John Boehner said a
budget should be passed before there is a long-term increase in the
debt limit.
