The Role of HIPAA in Gun Control

https://scripted.com/cpt_experts/the...n-gun-control/

Federal law does not require state agencies to report to NICS, and the current HIPAA privacy rule is thought to create legal barriers that prevent states from sharing healthcare records and reporting relevant information to NICS. In order to improve reporting, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is proposing changes to the HIPAA privacy rule to give states express permission to disclose limited mental health information to NICS without violating patient privacy.

Of course as with anything and everything " Limited " is not in the governments vocabulary.

Bottom line I just finished the HPPA law and Gun rights ( Here: http://bit.ly/1ZLah0W ) nothing really stands out, just more infringement on your privacy. Like with the last 15 years ( god willing ) Ill stay away from the Healthcare industry and keep eating clean and exercising daily. The Feds are using Doctors and the Healthcare system as a back door operation, now we can see why they pushed so hard to federalize the Healthcare system, and you thought it was free and about affordability....L......O.....L
