AT LEAST 13 people have been killed and more injured after a huge explosion destroyed a popular ice cream shop in central Baghdad.

ISIS have since claimed
responsibility for the callous attack on innocent Iraqis, which is
believed to have been caused by a remotely detonated car bomb.
The
blast rocked the city at midnight – striking as Muslims across the city
celebrated Ramadan by heading out to restaurants to break their fasts.
The
al-Faqma ice cream shop is popular with families and features a large
outdoor seating area which bore the brunt of the explosion.
